Do poppy seeds really cause you to fail a hair follicle drug test?

Hair follicles are a long-term record of your drug use, supposidly, and otherwise (If I remember correctly). There is a threshold (again, if I remember correctly) that is when drugs are excreted into the hair follicles. Poppy seeds don't have enough for it to register on a hair follicle test.
