Why those three Abrahamic religions are so intolerant to each other?
The problem with anyone believing that their way is the one true way is that everyone else would be, by default, wrong. If you think people are wrong about how they decorate their house or dress their children, it may bother you, but with no long-lasting effects. However, if you believe that it is your duty, bound by God, is to "correct" them, then thats when the conflicts arise. Add to that, each one of the Abrahemic religions have many of the same holy sites and had, at least before a split, shared beliefs, prophets, and key ideas, many people from each feel the other groups have strayed or gone wrong. It seems, though I am not very educated on them, the Eastern religions are more individual based, and do not require making converts or defending holy lands, relics, or historical figures. These conflicts have been going on for hundreds of years, and will last for hundreds more, I am sure.
