Giant bruise on thigh?
Some people are right, you can get the wrong advice from people on the net. The muscle is still traumatized and is holding itself in a way to protect itself. Now you have to release it. Sitting, grab your leg with both hands right above the knee and squeeze hard and hold. Now relax your body, take a deep breath and exhale, and don't tense up any part of your body, including your arms. Let your fingers and hands do the work. After about a minute you should feel some releaseing of that muscle. Continue to hold the pressure. Slowly move your foot outward about two feet and pull it back again. Continue to hold for another minute and half. It is a big muscle and needs a lot of help to release. If you went to the doctor he would have had you take pills or do some kind of exercise or add heat or cold to it. The cold would make it feel worse. Until it is released nothing else is going to help.
