When comparing belief to atheism, don't you think it is unscientific to ignore the communist experience?

After all, scientists are committed to looking at all the evidence, not just the evidence that proves their favourite theories... n'est-ce pas? For example, ignoring the suppression of Christianity and Islam in the former Soviet Union is a big blight on the history of humanity.
