We have had our house up for sale for 3 months and a couple decided to get in contract on it. We found a house we liked so we got in a contract with it but the contract was contingent to the sale of our home. the buyers for our house got a home inspection done and nit picked every little thing , and now they want us to fix it all and we just can't afford to. so if they back out because we can't fix the stuff do we get our earnest money back for the other house since we signed a contract that said contingent to the sale of our home??
