How long does it take epoxy to dry?

I have a ring that is too big. I used epoxy on it and some other material to fill in the area on the inside of the ring where it is too big. it has been about 8 hours and still hasn't hardened. How long will it take to adhere to the metal on the ring and the other material I used (I used a strip of magnet)
