My fiance wants me to wear a chastity belt to our wedding!!!!???

It's not like we haven't tasted of each other's carnal flesh, we have, plenty. The is one of the better things about the relationship. We are having this huge formal ceremony and my fiance just gave me this present last night. I opened it and found this really intricate chastity belt he had made for me. It is inset with some semi-precious stones and has beautiful metal work. He wants to put it on me a few days before the wedding and then take it off on our wedding night. Am I the only one who thinks this is weird? I feel like I am living in some B and M movie. And my relatives are helping me get dressed, what if they see this? The thing is that he got really mad when I said I wouldn't do it. He said he has gone to a lot of trouble and expense and that it stands for something really important. What should I do?
